Man, there is just something about coins from the 18th century that get me. Maybe it is because I feel that was the infancy of so many interesting and improved things. It's the century of America's founding, so coins that may have been held by important people who contributed to that have a magic to me. I wish there was a way to trace who touched any given coin you have in your pocket. I often envision a movie being made revolving around that concept.

Yes this coin is over 200 yrs old and who knows what it has seen, who held it, what it was used for

i'll admit the coin isn't in good shape, but after 200 yrs you wouldn't be either
