I've had some Jeffs turn Yellow....some turn Blue. The Blue ones get the premium. (I've never had one turn Blue enough...just slightly.)

Perhaps the yellow will go Golden?

Did anything happen to the reverse? The back has a slight gold tint around the edge.

The back sure is fugly (sorry).  I would guess probably not but the it's hard to tell how nice (or bad) it is in the light from a scan. I bet the blues stand out more in the light.

How did it get like that?

The real test may be set it in a dish of acyetone so that the reverse is clean and the obverse is toned or just dip in ms-70 or jewell luster to get it back again. Though the detail is there, but the toning is in question. A case of eye appeal and not of "how much can I get for this" type mentality. To put in a commemorative album or to admire the coin, its all a case of do you like it or not and would you be glad to add it to your collection.
