Now you are trying to embarrass me, Shimmy (Paul) ...lol.  ::blush:: :bigwink:

You are perfectly right about how long we've known each other, Paul.  I know this because I have all the PM's you sent me from the previous site we talked on, and the first ones are in 2002.  Good job!!

hi susan, sorry to hear about this thing again,
next time you go to the post office ,take the address you sent the package to and file a tampering complate. your thief is in the post office. this allso happen to me, like you it was uninsured. but the post master said file a complate any way. that way the post office has to investagate. as they compile these complates it will lead them to the thief. but if you dont they can not pin point him. enought complates filed from difrent point ,will lead to a sorce.
but they have to have the complant.

I tried to file a complaint at the p.o. but they wouldn't let me.  They said that since it was mailed to Canada uninsured, that there was nothing they could do and it would have to be investigated at the Canadian p.o.

Hi John! ::whello:: I edited your post because you pasted a gigantic url that made everyone have to scroll to the right.  When you have a big url especially, please make a word clickable like I did in your post, by pasting that url in the hyperlink pop up window that you click after highlighting the word.

Please read: How to make things clickable

I thank ya!

Lady Cop, do not take this as an attack against you.

1) I learned that the CDN Post office, when any mail is sent by Canada post is automatically insured up to $100.00 CDN. So really any item that you send if the value is less then $100.00, you really do not have to insure it. But a claim may take longer then an insured item

2) JND 1955, did a follow up and pretty well said that the U.S. Post office has the insurance policies as Canada. Just because a supervisor denied a claim, there is different routes to follow.

This post has an informative valve to the club members.

I myself did not know any of the above until now.

Thanks ::shades::

Susan (and Shimmy), I believe Lady Cop is upset about an unrelated matter and had a lapse in judgement, so please excuse her "unfriendly interruption" of your topic.

You can talk about this topic all day, every day, forever, and in any way you want in this thread, and it is absolutely not a problem.

:cool:
