Well, not yet, but starts this week.  I have been following Dave Ramsey for a few years now and fully follow his advice on how to stay out of debt and how to live properously.  I have always wanted to take the class but ironically it was not in the budget.  Well, the military is offering it to us free (I think it's free).

All is well, I took a PT test this last week, I scored 282 out of a possible 300 points.  I did 75 push ups, 77 sit ups and ran two miles in 15:13.  I maxed points on the PU and SU and actually could have done more, the run I hav never been able to max (to receive max points on the run I would have to run 13:18 ... I just don't see it happening).  I will try for 14:24 which will give me 90 points, I am going for a 290 next PT test.

I also went to the range and shot 40 out of 40 with my M16A2.  The irony is I have not zeroed this weapon yet.  I really like shooting, I plan on going to every range that I can.

Well, thanks for reading,

Ray

40 out of 40!  WOW!  Awesome shooting Ray!  I go to the firing range pretty often myself, but I sure as heck don't shoot like that!  That's exciting about your class too.  Sounds like they're taking good care of you over there!  I've been told you have a good coffee outlet.  I hope you and the guys are still enjoying Gods nectar!  hahaha  If it slows down a little, let me know and I'll try and get another box to you.  Take care, and thanks for checking in now and then!  Say HI to everybody from us!

Hey, a fellow Dave Ramsey-ite! I bought a copy of The Total Money Makeover on October 25, 2003. The reason I know this date so precisely is because it is the very last transaction I ever made on a credit card. Ever. Ironic, yes? Buying Dave's book with a CC?

Anyway, I've been to six Live Events (volunteered at one), and I was on his radio show on February 25, 2005 - yes, a Friday show, with a Debt-Free Scream! Eighteen months to the day after I bought the book and saw him live for the first time, I was out of debt but for my mortgage. Due to a job loss, I had to live on my Baby Step 3 emergency fund for more than a year - but I was able to, since I didn't have any payments but my house! I've almost got it saved up again, and then on to steps four, five, and six.

Are you a member of the TMMO forums, by any chance? I'm the bigmouth over there - I have the most posts. Drop by sometime :) I'll PM you the URL if you like, if you don't already have it.

Gotta love Dave!

Oh, and most importantly...THANKS!!!
