we're taught in the Laws of Armed Conflict that there are legal AND illegal orders, and we are bound NOT to follow illegal orders or we can be punished the same as the individual who issued the orders.

 

however, I cant answer directly yes/no based on your question. Patriots or not, the situation would dictate the legality or not of the issued orders.

Like I said, the present CinC is traitor #1 with not upholding article Four Section Four of our Constitution in a time of war. ANY orders against patriots of the USA would be illegal, even if you are bullshitted into believing they are real and legal. The people have addressed their grievances and been met with continued invasion, deaths, diseases, and costs. This is the very tyranny Thomas Jefferson, our founding father, talked about.

The oath we take when we join the military says we'll protect the constitution of the united states against all enemies, foreign or domestic. If what these patriots were doing was illegal and the orders were lawful, then we're bound by oath and law to take action.

Is taht what you're looking for?

 

edited for: i dont mean "take action" to mean "firing on" as you pose the question. you were in the military (thanks for YOUR service) so you know that lethal force is the last resort. I would hope ESPECIALLY against our own. I dont know who THEY are that say that 50% of "us" would fire on our own...but I wonder who did the poll...I never got a phone call asking me. Ray, did you??
