A little bird was flying south for the winter. It got so cold it froze up and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some manure on it. As it lay there in the pile of manure, it began to realize how warm it was. The manure was actually thawing him out! As he lay there all warm and happy, he soon began to sing for joy and a passing cat heard the little bird singing, and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of manure, and promptly dug him out—and then ate him! The morals of this story are: Not everyone who drops manure on you is your enemy. Not everyone who digs you out of a pile of manure is your friend. When you're in the manure, keep your mouth shut!

Dolfina wrote: You have nothing to fear if they pray to a God that has no power in your eyes or heart. What do you think America means to all races and creeds? That is why the fighting is in Iraq, over differences of religion. The day we make ONE religion our State religion, as many would like, it is the day we fail to be free. Tolerance is American. But, remember that G.W. had his first PRAYER breakfast hosted by the unRev. Sun Myung Moon...and honored him as a Man of Peace. Sun Moon handed out literature on the Unification Church and many evangelicals walked out.Interesting that Moon owns adjacent land, with his quasi-religious ill-gotten profits, to GHW and GW Bush's 298k acres in northern Paraguay, also bought with ill-gotten gains--thanks from the profiteers in big oil, coal, and those who hire illegals or low buck"legals", and the "contractors" in Iraq making bundles. Tolerance may be American, compassion, too. Over-tolerance and over-compassion are NOT American, a line HAS to be drawn. Madison's Papers on the making of the US Constitution explained that "freedom of religion" did not include "Mohammedanism, or other Eastern Religions". Separation of church and state should mean no prayers or religious activity at any government function.

I agree....separation of church and state is being clouded everywhere. On The University of Texas Main Towe, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free"...yet, they have classes in witchcraft and call it "religion" Go figure...

First let me talk about this 'separation of church and state'... it does not mean that universities and government institutions can't have religion involved in them, it doesn't mean senate shouldn't open with prayer, or that prayers should be banned from schools... First of all, separation of church and state is no where in the constitution or the bill of rights, it is simply in a PRIVATE letter that was I believe written by Thomas Jefferson... it means that the government has NO RIGHT to be involved in religion, nor can it restrict the beliefs of anyone. Now I must say I am SHOCKED by a lot of what is being said here! Will you all further force me to side with the NINJA??? PLEASE STOP DOING THAT TO ME! the prayer of anyone is often sacred in their own mind, whether it is to a rock or to God, you should respect them... you can think they are CRAZY (and I do) but its simply RUDE to interrupt them. You all say how you are so wonderfully guided by the Bible... I ask now "Which part?" certainly not all of it! look in acts, we are taught a great lesson in one of the beginning chapters "Do not fight against anyones beliefs, if they be of the devil, then they will fall of themselves"... not the exact words, but that is the message. Don't concern yourselves with pulling down religions you don't agree with, instead build up, teach truth, and through the truth, the lies will be made known. What's to say that YOUR beliefs are exactly 'on par'? Who's to say who is right? Some believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are all the same being! Others believe them to be separate and individual, but one in purpose. Some believe that women are inferior to men because of verses in the Bible which say that women should not speak in church, they think all women should be subjected to men... but then there are others who see the truth, and realize that women are equal to man, they read the REST of the bible and find that women are to be cherished of men, and treated as their help MEET, (which means EQUAL!) There are thousands of different Christian churches, all with different beliefs... nearly all claiming authority, so with that authority how then are they wrong on some issues? if they then are wrong on these issues, how can you say their prayers are any better than the prayer of a muslim? Whether you call our Father in Heaven God, or Allah, whats the difference? Each religion claims Abraham as their father! rightly so... and what of Jews? would you allow a Jewish prayer? ... oh wait, I got sidetracked... yes... So this isn't to debate the Godhead vs. the Trinity, but say you believe in the Trinity, and you pray to the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and someone who believes in the Godhead comes around and says "Whoa whoa whoa... you should only pray to God the Father, you are a sinner, get out of here, you don't have the right to pray ANYWHERE because you are praying falsely!" how would that make ya feel? Think about these things before you go and curse another religion than your own. Dash it all, I have to prepare for work now, so I must end this.

JasonAMrtn wrote: Even so, this is America. We were built on the foundation of freedom of religion! and now you denounce it? I disagree with that, and while I don't agree with hinduism, I can respect their beliefs, if they want to believe that way, so be it... I think it was wrong to interrupt a prayer, that prayer could be sacred to the person giving it, he may not be praying to a real god, but he might think he is, and I am not going to destroy his belief system. The point is this once great Republic was based on Christian principals Patrick Henry So we do offer freedom of religion to people here in the USA, but our government is based on Christian standards, not Hindu ones. When is the last time Hindus made a republic and offered freedom of religion to others? Today Hindus kill Christians. The Hindu religion is Luciferic in its base, its a quest toward being a god. We can not hope to hold God's favor by allowing demons or Luciferic forces to be sought in our government. The elites do this but in the past hid it from most, today they are promoting it in our government openly, Christianity is the religion that the elites are attacking , not hinduism. The elites like hinduism because it fits the mold for their coming global religion where God is denounced, and self and panthism is embraced. The quest for the new world order is a spiritual movement first and foremost, what we see in the physical world is the results of a spiritual battle thats been going on since the Garden of Eden. If the USA loses its Christian foundation, there really is no reason to support her anymore. Our laws and our claims to Liberty come from the Bible, not hindu god men who are normally demon infested themselves...thats what their quest for enlightenment brings...demonic powers and lies. I'm not saying ban the hindus, I'm talking about the foundational principals of our Republic....and we have something that hindus or buddists or new agers will not offer to the Christians. Well those religions are really all the same, just said in a different way, but the goals are the same. The Christian Religion offered Freedom, not the other way round Sir William Blackstone (Blackstone's Commentaries on the Law was the recognized authority on the law for well over a century after 1776)
What we are seeing in the senate, is a victory for our destroyers...and I would rather not be destroyed if possible...but. As the committee of 300 said Only one religion will be allowed and that will be in the form of a One World Government Church, which has been in existence since 1920 as we shall see. Satanism, Luciferianism and Witchcraft shall be recognised as legitimate One World Government curricula with no private or church schools. All Christian churches have already been subverted and Christianity will be a thing of the past in the One World Government. And as Pike said ALBERT PIKE MASTER MASON talks about the reasons for the wars. "We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social-cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute-atheism; the origins of savagery and of most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the people will be forced to defend themselves against the world-minority of the world-revolutionaries and will exterminate those destroyers of civilization and the multitudes disillusioned with Christianity whose spirits will be from that moment without direction and leadership and anxious for an ideal, but without knowledge where to send its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal-manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer brought finally out into public view. A manifestation which will result from a general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and Atheism; both conquered and exterminated at the same time."http://100777.com/node/361?PHPSESSID=53305f2fccc1ea511dab8bc74d2477f1 Audio warning from forty years ago, with transcript ;) And from the Masons spiritual cousins. They can't step on an ant or eat a cow, but can beat Christians. No wonder Madison said our freedom of religion was not to include mohammedanism or other eastern religions, like hindu.

Hey, Amy, baby baha, I'm a DEIST like TOM JEFFERSON!!!! So your Bible quotes won't work with me. Neither will quotes from the bagdad diva or trance dental mockingbirds, or sandgrit, whatever. The "eastern" religions and cults, and a few developed over here, all froggin' stink!!!!(just like most of their "people"!)

I don't disagree with what you say about this religion, if its not of God, its of the devil... but do not deny them to freedom of speech, and the freedom of belief. I don't think they should be allowed to give the prayers in senate... but honestly I kind of doubt any of the prayers have been true prayers for the past 100 years!! The biggest threat to Christianity is not from the hindu or the muslim, or the buddhist religions, but from the "Christian" religion... organizations like the National Council of Churches, and even worse the World Council of Churches, which are more evil and satanic than any of the aforementioned religions. Both set up by satan himself through his minions the bankers. Are we like the Pharisees who would not dare set foot inside the borders of Samaria? Do we put ourselves on pedestals above those who have been brought up to believe in the false traditions of their parents? Why are we so quick to rail against someone who doesn't believe the same way we do? How does it help them OR us to tell them how wicked and wrong they are? It can! but not when we do it in an accusing manner, why not do something more productive? be their friends, show them through example the error of their ways, through the spirit... the spirit of contention is of Satan, and when we contend with them, and belittle them (them meaning those who don't have the same beliefs) who is REALLY in the wrong? and on satan's side? Here we sit talking about how wicked and evil the hindu's are... sounds kind of like a mote to me.

Nor do I, but I'm not talking about that. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f8f8f8" I don't think they should be allowed to give the prayers in senate... but honestly I kind of doubt any of the prayers have been true prayers for the past 100 years!! Agreed, to a point as time goes on...its gotten worse as time has marched on...should we give up now? I don't think your saying that. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f8f8f8" The biggest threat to Christianity is not from the hindu or the muslim, or the buddhist religions, but from the "Christian" religion... organizations like the National Council of Churches, and even worse the World Council of Churches, which are more evil and satanic than any of the aforementioned religions. Well yes that is a very big threat, but the powers that brought those to us have the same spiritual background as the above listed. Remember this is a spiritual battle first. but you do have a wonderful point about false Christian groups or people using the label of Christianity being used to destroy Christianity...ie like George Bush or Bill Clintong who also use the label for selfish reason. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f8f8f8" Both set up by satan himself through his minions the bankers. Hindus were set up by satan well before the above listed...so were the muslims. Remember the spiritual elements I'm talking about, they are very well involved, past the life of mortal man....ie the Vapors. Are we like the Pharisees who would not dare set foot inside the borders of Samaria? Do we put ourselves on pedestals above those who have been brought up to believe in the false traditions of their parents? Why are we so quick to rail against someone who doesn't believe the same way we do? Because I'm talking about a foundation of our republic, the difference between the God given rights supported by the USA compared to the Human rights supported by the UN. There is a very big difference you know. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f8f8f8" How does it help them OR us to tell them how wicked and wrong they are? It can! but not when we do it in an accusing manner, why not do something more productive? Well the Christians that asked for Gods forgiveness didn't do something, they stood for truth. be their friends, show them through example the error of their ways, through the spirit... the spirit of contention is of Satan, and when we contend with them, and belittle them (them meaning those who don't have the same beliefs) who is REALLY in the wrong? Is it right or wrong to agree with evil, just to get along? Beside again I will say, I'm talking about the foundation of our Republic and allowed them to come here an pray as part of the government destroys what we hold and are allowed to offer to them in our land.... and thats not afforded us in their land....you really have to start thinking beyond time, and start thinking in spiritual absolutes....there are those...but they are on the wrong side, and again, I'm talking about our "foundation" not about being nice or PC for the sake of "getting along" Evil never gets along, once it has the upperhand it crushes all around it....think of it as "Animal Farm" The only religion being attacked in the USA today is Christianity, to a lesser extent the Jews....but not Islam, or Hinduism, New Age, Masonics, Witchcraft or even Satanism. It is what Jesus talked about the wide and narrow path. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f8f8f8" and on satan's side? Here we sit talking about how wicked and evil the hindu's are... sounds kind of like a mote to me. Hindus are people too, We should pray for them and hope for them like the Bahai's, but I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the foundational claims we used to claim our Liberty and we can't hold our claim by giving what we have way to the followers of demons....and then expect blessing or much of anything else.
