[size=2 _extended="true"]Director of communications for the Ron Paul Campaign, Jesse Benton, stated today that the Iowa GOP would charge the Paul camp $184,000 if they wanted to verify a paper count of the coming Iowa straw poll.  Today, on the Dale Williams radio show, Mr. Benton said there will be a manual electronic count of the Iowa poll results.  What Mr. Benton did not explain, as exposed in a previous National Expositor Article, “it is commonly known that this manual count” with Diebold machines “would only consist of spot checks of the voting machines for device calibration purposes. This does not constitute a verifiable check of the accuracy from either an engineering or statistical perspective.”

Visit http://www.google.com/trends?q=ron+paul&ctab=0&hl=en&geo=all&date=2007-8&sort=1

type in Ron Paul's name, and any of the other candidates, this website tells you how often the search terms you entered are searched, and it does a side by side comparison if you separate terms with a comma... Ron Paul does better than anyone. It's pretty interesting.

And here is some fun information, if you type in a candidates name, see how many websites come up.  I've got some here

Ron Paul - 56,500,000

Mitt Romney - 2,540,000

Rudy Giuliani - 2,140,000

John McCain - 2,480,000

Hillary Clinton - 10,700,000

Barak Obama - 4,190,000

Fred Thompson - 10,600,000 (this guy is the only republican that scares me... he is the one that the elites want to win)
