That was my take, as well.  Hahaha.

Bahá'u'lláh asks that we defend the Bahá'í Faith, meaning we must clear up misconceptions and attempt to set false statement right.

No Bahá'í here holds any illusions that Robodoon or any other fundamentalist Christian will be persuaded.

We merely answer the false accusations and skewed statements with love and accuracy in the name of Bahá'u'lláh and out of love for Him.

That is all we can do, and that is what we have been called to do.

Britt we don't do it, God does...the first attempt is the trick...and you agree with the first attempted.

You don't understand the reference, Rob.  "Assembly" refers to the Administrative Order revealed by God through Bahá'u'lláh.  It is a Divine institution ordained by God to order the affairs of the Bahá'í world.  It is through this Divine Institution that the framework for world peace is being built.  OF COURSE it is God Who has the ultimate Authority but He has asked all of us to work toward it's arrival.

World unification is inevitable, Rob, whether you like it or not.

We do not believe it will be built by humans, merely assisted.  God is the ultimate Authority.  He has given us the tools to establish World Peace.

It's sort of like saying, "Heart transplants being done by humans?  Not in my Bible."

God has given us the intellect and faculties to create many wonders.

And, yes, there is reference to world peace and prosperity upon earth in the Bible.

You mean the 1000 yr. Millenium right? After Christs 2nd Coming? When Jesus will reign on earth and Satan is cast away for 1000 yrs. before the Great White Throne Judgement as told in Revelation?

Yep.  And that 1000 year millemium began in 1844, the birth of the Bahá'í Faith.

All the prophesies in the Book of Daniel have been fulfilled and the Seven Seals have been broken.  The Kingdom of God is being built as we speak.  Satan is being cast away.  The world is being made new.

This is the reason I am not going to be posting much in Baha'i related threads...it is a waste of my time and the time of the Baha'is who will read my posts and reply.  I have learned that we have very little in the way of common ground.

I really like most of the Baha'is here, I enjoy talking to them about other topics, but I am not going down this road again!
