Seems I am in charge of all thing "non-ghosty" as Hambone puts it  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what you'd like to find out about? Please feel free to suggest a topic! Or maybe you have experience or stories you'd like to share about any of the following: Psychics Esp Out of body experiences (including near death experiences. astral projection and remote viewing) Clairvoyance Clairaudience Clairsentiousness Telepathy Telekinesis (Psychokinesis) Empathy Auras Reincarnation Spirit guides Precognition Mediumship Animal symbolism and anything else!

After reading Aethelred's "review" of your reading, Hamster, I'd like to hear more about psychic powers. Also after reading the thread about sensory deprivation and how it could relate to this power. Hell, I'm blind in one eye now and half deaf in one ear and if there's a way to read my husband's thoughts, I'm seriously interested! He and I are connected in a way I don't totally understand and we've read each other's thoughts before, even with 140 miles between us.

I believe telepathy can be developed between two people at any distance given enough work. I have been asked already about the psychic powers so I'll start a thread about where I think they come from. There should be some help in there for you too. This thread has an explanation of why I think we can connect and read thoughts at any distance, at anytime. Thought energy is the energy vibration that is high enough to transcend time and space. You must have experienced this when you have thought about someone you haven't heard from in ages. Then the phone rings and it's them? [size=E]ach person can be/could be connected to everyone else but they just don't vibrate high enough because they are so busy being tired, stressed, busy etc. If you have trouble believing this look at the animals.They have no idea of stress etc and they are always connected in this non-local connection. Observe a school of fish and notice how they all turn at the exact same instant! No time passes between the fish and at the front turning and the next one. How is that possible? Why don't they bump into each other? ME: ….maybe at one time, mankind could react with this same instinct when spoken language was not the primary means of communication. Has evolution actually caused us to "de-evolve" and lose this most basic primordial instinct? However, that concept in itself is a conundrum. My theory has always been that people who are psychic are possibly more advanced in evolution which somehow allows them to utilize more of their brain thus enabling them to be post- or pre-cog, have the ability to "read minds", basically psychics in general. And therein lies the conundrum. If man has lost the ability to communicate via energy/thought/instinct like a school of fish or flock of birds, then psychics are not advanced further than average people but de-evolved instead making their brains more like man of old that once might have had this natural instinctual ability. Are humans de-evolving vs evolving now? Is nature taking us back to where we WERE? Have we gone full circle and are headed back to the way we once were? To the most basic level of being which will enable us to be more instinctive like our ancient ancestors? OR…have I totally missed your point and just gone off on a tangent unrelated. Shit, I don't know. I've never thought about psychics and telepathy on this level before but it's a fresh, albeit strange, concept that you've got me thinking about. Human arrogance dictates we assume we're moving forward. Maybe in actuality we're going backward, so to speak. Does this mean we're going to stop talking and start grunting like cavemen again? No, of course not.....

Hmm..I would vote for several of the options. I have always had an interest in astral projection, though. The other thing is..and I forget what it is called..where the spirits apparently can contact through tape or video? It was featured in that movie White Noise. I think I am game for learning more about most of what is on your list.

Ok Marie I will try to go through the list. Some of it we have started. Do you have a reason for your interest in this area? Most people have weird story or two! I'd love to hear any if you have them!

Again you have to be in astral form I'd say then you can mix energies on an intimate basis. I'm looking for volunteers to test this out please I wouldn't even try this due to the 3 fold law. Whatever you summon comes back at you 3 fold-good or bad.

I have always felt I have an auditory sensitivity...I hear sounds, voices, "thing" for no apparent reason. I have sworn that I have heard voices (besides the ones in my head  ) and sounds. For some reason bells and chimes figure high in my sensitivity.And I have never heard or read alot about this. Just these feeling I sometimes have.

It recently found out that certain tones and pitches correspond to the different Chakras or energy centres of the body. So just as they each have a colour they have a note too. Do you feel any physical sensations when you get this sensitivity Marie?

Hambone may have more experience in this area?

I've seen very few ghosts but have heard them one way or another more often. Some of the energy they get during an investigation can come from the batteries in our equipment as well as energy in the wiring of the house or wherever we are (if there IS power to the building). they can get energy from the television and anything else with a power source even if it's off. Things "off" still "store" electricity in them. Once they've manifested enough energy to make contact, than can use the phone, tv, radio or even "put a thought in your head". if they have even more energy, they can touch you so you can feel it or even physically move things in the environment. Yes, I've seen/heard ghosts and i've been touched. I've not heard them on the phone or Tv/radio, but i have heard whispers and mumbled talking that was not from anyone physical present. I've also had things whispered in my ear, felt like someone was blowing gently on the back of my neck and had my hair pulled. I often see other investigators react to being touched and asked if I head "that" when they heard something.
