The house they lived in, had construction built around it so that it LOOKED like they could look in the windows. The neighbors house with the pool, the movie crew got permission to put the pool in. The home owners were told they could keep it , but they chose to have them take it out because they had small children. All the landscaping, the home owners got to keep. He also told me the woman who played MRS. HENDERSON...........was a BIT*H in real life! They all thought the two kids were neat, and fun!

speaking of bigfoot....did you hear that someone somewhere has asked that it be added to the endangered species list.  not sure why....but that amuses me.but actually, i think that's a good thing...then if in fact they do exist, it would be a criminal offense for anyone to kill one.

Yes I read that in he news a few weeks ago, I thought it premature to add a species to list before its existence is confirmed but hey I guess better safe than sorry.

That's quite an Avatar MrParanormal! Is there a story behind it? On the subject of BIGFOOT........................What is your feeling as to whether it exists? Have you ever studied this, have you read or heard anything that supports there IS a Bigfoot? As a kid camping in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, we use to tell all kinds of stories at night around a camp fire! I've NEVER heard of any remains being found. That in of itself makes me doubt. I would love to believe there is! Talk to me!

Thanks foxglovepress no special story I just think with a username like MrParanormal the avatar goes with it. No the only personal paranormal experience I have is the ghost I think I live with all else is years of documentaries reading books articles and group and forum post and interviewing researchers and investigators. but while I never saw a bigfoot or ufo with my eye what I've read and watched has been convince me of the possibility even the likelihood almost. That combined with me seeing what to me is civilized bigfoots in the movies and wrestling, while that proves nothing its enough to keep my mind open

Thanks cynicalninja I must say a very interesting view and as strong a possibility as any I heard, I have heard the theory all things paranormal are connected but never broken down and explained like that, At the same time for me when I look at the various theories I bear in mind that having a high probability in it self does not necessarily mean it is in fact what happened nor the opposite Again I like to stay open to possibilities but this one would account for everything as far as I can see thus far very thought provoking.

The History Channel has a new series... Monster Quest I watched this episode: (taken from the website) "Sasquatch Attack - Does Canada have its own Bigfoot? Owners of a fly-in fishing cabin report attacks by an unknown creature. Can DNA tests on blood and tissue from the alleged beast reveal its true identity? The test results will surprise you. The best evidence available will be examined, from pictures and video, to hair and bones. Scientists will be brought in to tell viewers what the evidence reveals. Discover the truth behind these beasts and take a scientific look at legendary creatures around the world. Wednesday November 7th at 10PM" ____________ A group of scientists went to investigate at Snelgrove Lake, Ontario, Canada. When they left, the cabin owners, placed a board on the porch with lots of screws sticking out, in case whatever it was came back in hopes of getting evidence of it's visit. When the scientists arrived they found blood, tissue and hair samples from something that stepped on it. (this samples were dated 2006) (also, the size of the foot according to the screws that had blood on them measured to be approximately 18 inches long) While they were there, they did not have any encounters exactly or capture any evidence on tape...but on their last night there, something was throwing rocks into their camp. (which they claimed is something that apes will do in defense.) But what was interesting to me...when they returned to the U.S. they had two independent labs check the blood and tissue samples for DNA evidence. At first both labs could not get any usable data, but one of the labs tried again, thinking that perhaps there was some sort of inhibitor preventing them from identifying it, and he was right, the oxidation from the screws was interfering...so he was able to extract that and retested... The DNA was identical to human except for one (oh forgive me, I forget what it's called)...maybe someone more knowledgeable can help me here...he said humans and primates are identical, but primates differ in 35 areas (of whatever it is i'm forgetting the name of)...but this sample only differed in one.  I wish they would have asked the other lab to retest to see if they arrived at the same conclusion...but of course the show was over...but nevertheless it was fascinating!
