I was wondering here who believs we were visited in ancient times by extraterrestrials? I'm talking all the way back to Adam and Eve or before. I will go I first I am 97% sure we have been based on the mass of books and internet material I have read over the last 10 years that we have been visited and traces of thier influence can be found in the bible and ancient writings stories and myths around he world.

I put that in the land of the unknown and unlikely, but who knows? It seems odd that it would be secretive and unknown like this, though.

I'm curious why you find that odd?

Because stories, writings, myths and fables based on partial truths have persisted throughout the centuries for far less important stuff.  I guess I felt if there really was interaction like that there would be some stronger indications.

I think what you say has much merit, it would seem that way logicly. Do you think there is a chance thier could be something to it but we don't have all the info to know why thier ain't something stronger?

I mean, it could be a secret or something that got lost or is being hidden and all that, I was just saying I find it odd that it would not be stronger in our myths or indicated somehow in a stronger fashion. I really don't know. I was just saying why I find it unlikely, if I had to bet on the odds. Do you know of any real evidence or strong indications that are not pure speculation and fantasy?

Well to be honest in ten years of study I have found absolutly nothing conclusive.

What I can't let go of is recurring themes from around the world, consistant themes in tales, stuff like that. truth be told if there is anything to the myths around the world they all agree we will know a some point in the future on doomsday. I have no preconcieved notions about doomsday, Is it The Apocalypse of the bible? The Pole Shift of the New Agers? The repassing of Nibiru predicted by Zacharia Sitchin? Atlantis Coming full circle? The Mayan Prophecy? or all fairy tales? Insuffient data for me to say but to me it seems so many people around the global making up these myths with no reason is odd.

Childs: I just cannot believe any of this voodoo bullshit.
Palmer: Childs, it happens all the time, man. They're falling out of the sky like flies. Government knows all about it, right, Mac?
Childs: You believe any of this voodoo bullshit, Blair?
Palmer: Childs, Childs... Chariots of the Gods, man. They practically own South America. I mean, they taught the Incas everything they know.

Heck yeah, Mr. P! Where to start? The incas and their overly developed astronomy techniques?

The odd "landing strips" and figures only visible from the sky?

Ezekiel's "Flaming Wheel in the Sky?"

Evidence seems to be all over.

I'm especially fond of an old British movie originally called "Cratermass and the Pit" but renamed "Five Million Years to Earth."

In it, a buried flying saucer is found next to altered Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon skeletons and the theory is put forth that mankind's astounding rise to intelligence in a comparatively short time geologically is the work of aliens.

Made a lot of sense to me for a couple of reasons.

1. As put forth by Arthur C. Clark (Rest in Peace, Arthur. He died yesterday.) in "Rendevous with Rama," intelligent life may be so precious in the Universe that all intelligent life may be involved in the process of seeding itself across the galaxies.

2. Mankind is lonely and wishes for friends or other signs of intelligence, why wouldn't other species long for companionship too?

Great thread.

I have found absolutly nothing conclusive.

Other than the astonishing UFOs I have personally seen, I have nothing conclusive either.  I wish they would stop, talk, and be friendly. But as my mother so astutely observed, "When was the last time you stopped and talked to an anthill?"

Perhaps we are not developed enough to have a common reference to speak with them...yet.

I'll say this:  I'm a scientist, mathematician, and teacher. With all the training and schooling, I've still seen enough things in this life that absolutely defy logical information.

I'm not closing the book or my mind on any theory at this time.

I agree Saint evidence is bountiful I know this better than anyone during all my studies, just maddening that none of the evidence is conclusive lol. But yet foragers and hunters 6000 years ago drawing images on cave walls of the grey aliens we see today is something to me not to be ignored, or like you say the Incas making huge drawings in the ground that could only be seen from the sky, one cannot help but be at a loss to find a reason to put so much sweaty man hours into something only someone in the sky could appreciate, Not to mention the massive structures around the world that even if you could prove ancient men of the time did build, you would have trouble figuring out what would motivate them to stick with such a monumental task for so many years, we are talking structures that if they were intended to be observatories certainly could perform the same function on a much smaller scale, saving much money time and labor. What about civilization blossoming in Sumeria 6000 years ago only to stop before the middle ages only to boom again after the invention of the railroad, while still today having tribes of hunters and foragers who never advanced, I find myself asking has history transpired this way naturally? Or because of influence? I wonder what you and everyone else here thinks.

As far as I know, that is the basic picture the vast majority of relevant scientists world-wide paint in regard to human evolution.  The evidence points to multiple strains of hominids evolving in the past, with more than one type or track existing at the same time.  For example, the cro magnon and neanderthals are believed to have had contact in Europe, with the neanderthals dying out afterwards.  Two very different humanoid types existing at the same time, one significantly more "caveman-like" than the other more "modern" type.

Granted that is true, although the cromagnon and neanderthal and homoerectus shared simular technology even the homo sapiens up to the time of Sumeria then suddenly boomtown til the middle ages. ofcourse might might argue if the Sumerians were influenced by the Annunaki, Then why have not the Dogan's advanced much more which would be a good question I could not answer, same with the Droppa's.

Perhaps the answer may be in the bible if the Jews who had origins in Sumeria were the chosen of God or the gods it might make more sense. Many questions speculations probabilities and theories no facts.

I do, however, put value on myths because they often are traced back to partial truths and if cross-corroborated, can be very meaningful.

What I regret is when, some conspiracy theorist study our history and paint gory pictures with targeted institutions a the destroyer, when investigation shows they have been chaseing a mouse thinking it was a cat. I'm refering to the biased interpetations of some conspiracy theorist. it makes a mockery of what could be valid study. I have been so thankful not to see that here.
