Houston, TX, May 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On a clear spring day in 1955, Air Force reservist Robert Willingham was piloting an F-86 fighter jet across West Texas when he saw an intensely bright UFO streak past his aircraft at over 2,000 miles per hour and then crash-land along the banks of the Rio Grande River, where he later found smoldering, twisted wreckage that convinced him the object was not of the Earth.

This is the true story of a decorated World War II and Korean War veteran who had a UFO encounter that changed his life forever. One of America’s first fighter jet pilots, Willingham was flying one of four jets escorting a B-47 bomber engaged in a simulated bombing run when an object “as bright as a star” suddenly appeared. After pursuing it and watching it plunge to Earth along the Texas-Mexico border, Willingham visited the crash site and found a strange, metallic object impacted into the side of a sandy hill just south of the Rio Grande River. Walking in the midst of a huge debris field, he picked up and took with him a piece of metal that later proved to be unknown to Earth science.

Authors Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte recently appeared the History Channel's UFO Hunters television series. The show, titled "Crash and Retrieval," was based on the research that the authors did for their book Mexico's Roswell: The Chihuahua UFO Crash. The authors served as technical advisors for the program, which first aired on Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. CT.

The War Highway near El Paso Texas (Close to the same place) is where I saw a massive black UFO against a small mountain range.

It was frisbee-shaped and the top was jet black, but the bottom was completely open and glowing red. Small red lights were coming and going from the surface to the ship. As I got closer, the red lights all leaped off the ground into the ship, then the entire ship took off at such terrific acceleration that I could hear the air falling into the vacuum it left in the atmosphere.

Scary.

Hey Saint I was not aware you saw a UFo on the ground, did you get a good enough view to be able to guess if it may have been hightech new craft?
