There may be a time when we are pulled from a deadly situation and have no understanding of how it happened, I have been there with what took place I should not be here. At the time I gave it very little thought, but today I know that something plucked me from certain damnation and it was out of love. Do you believe you can have people who work with good spirits? What if a person can and does pass a clear and 100% accurate answer from someone who passed?

My wife had three daughters and two passed away in the last five years, but my wife feels at times that their prsence is still in the house. I do not say to her you are mistaken because it brings peace to her and also who am I to say that it is not so. I know what I read in God's Word, but I do not possess any gift of the unknown. Hammy, I would probably have to witness it myself to be sure there was no assistance (unknowingly) from the party seeking answers. Hammy do you know of such a case?

I have seen cases of those having passed giving messages to others that are 100% accurate yes. Please allow me the grace of a day before I provide that evidence? I will explain why afterwards. I must point out that these messages are not coming from someone the party seeking answers were "related" to but separate entities. Is that what you meant or does it have be a passed family member?

You raise a good point, Friend. Sometimes, our feelings of connection to the dead are very real; othertimes, they are the product of our own human imaginations. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish between the two. In the end, I do not think it matters much whether we are truly communicating, as our prayers and thoughts transcend the "thin veil" between this world and heaven if our hearts are turned to God. God is All-Powerful, thus I have no reason to doubt. There are references on both the Bible and Bahá'í Holy Writings that the heart of men may produce both heavenly and evil thought. In the Book of Mark, it says, "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts...(including) foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man." Likewise, Bahá'í Sacred Writings say, "The promptings of the heart are sometimes satanic," or sometimes through God. The only way to distinguish between the two is through the love of God. "Were it not for the love of God all the spirits would be inanimate. The meaning of this is not physical death; nay, rather, it is that condition concerning which His Holiness Christ declared, 'Let the dead bury their dead, for that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.' (Bahá'í Holy Writings)" Such reunion is spiritual. So, for me, I definitely believe I can enjoy spiritual reunion with those whom have passed from this world. As to whether "seeing" them is of the spirit or a satanic fancy, I tend to believe it is my own imagination providing me solace. Generally, when one is lamenting the loss of a loved one, our hearts are filled with love and thanksgiving to God. For this reason, I like to believe such experiences are often Divine in origin. Just my take on it.

Friend wrote: I will not be able to give an honest answer whether those who have passed have access to their loved ones here on earth, this is only known by a higher power. But, I do belive that the "Prince of Darkness" can trick the grieving into a false hope. I have been through the loss of many loved ones and I can relate to them, but it is in my heart, not through a third party expects to be paid for a service. Here is a link I came across, it is only for informational purposes, read it, delete it, your choice. I love you people. I also wish I had an answer for a lot of questions, but now is not the time. One day it will be revealed. Thanks for your honesty in this and all subsuquent posts. It appears from your link that there is definitetly the possibility to talk to or communicate on some level with the dead. In the very first passage at the top of the page it says, basically, that it's an abomination to him to do so, so he does drive them out. Not DID drive them out. I'm left with the impression by that passage that it's still possible to make contact, either initiated by the living OR the deceased spirit, with the dead. There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Deuteronomy 18:10 (KJV) I may be interpreting "doth" wrong, but in this context I read it as "does", not "did".
