I left my voice recorder going when I took the kids out today. Here is a small section of what I picked up.

My house was locked and empty!

I am still searching through it so I will post more if I find any...

Boney is trying to clean up the one I sent him which is better but it was recorded in here. There is a lot of back ground noise in that one..

I spent a while (over an hour) tryin to clean up some of that original recording. Below is waht I got. it's difficult to bring out a voice or voices from far away. Hamster had the recorder in 1 room but the voices came from another, more distant location. I'm not sure what they're saying...but it's a bit clearer. I had to have my volume maxed out, but I use just ear plugs when I listen to EVP's so don blow your speakers away right off the bat!! hahaha....

No !, you have already decided that this IS EVP !, so how can you be objective ?, I have NO IDEA the circumstances or environment that this has been recorded in so how can I make any kind of objective judgement ?.

Sorry ham......but the explanation is mundane...no reason to stop recording stuff....in fact more reason to keep on doing so..................

The chances of you actually getting something paranormal are "extremely" unlikely.....try and keep that in mind.......a watched kettle never boils.....and when the observers think its boiling its actually not even plugged in.

Ninja...I posted what Hamster sent me and all i know is that the house was empty and the recorder was in 1 room and the voices came from another. I wasnt there, I dont know the exact circumstances. I believe what she tells me, I've got no reason not to and based on alot of discussions I've had with her, I've no reason to believe she would lie to me.

EVP's are not "extremely" rare. They're much more common than you may believe. You're more than welcome to come on a ghost hunt with us and then review the recordings afterwards with me. It's easy to say it's not what it is when you werent there at the original recording time. but when you get home and listen and hear things you didnt hear while you were there, it's ALOT different than just hearing the story and whats been posted.

People are all entitled to their opinion and this forum is for the discussion of things like that and why people do or dont believe. thanks for your input

She posted the audio and I'm giving my opinion on it, in my opinion the explanation is mundane, the same way I think probably 90% or more of EVP phenomena is mundane. Can I PROVE the explanation is mundane ?, nor more so than hamster can PROVE the explanation is paranormal.

I try and keep my objectivity hovering somewhere between believer and skeptic because I think starting any research/investigation with your foot planted firmly in the believer or skeptic camp you are only going to experience what you want or expect to experience.

I have seen LOTS of strange things in the past that I can't explain (which I intend to share here at some point !) , but I still haven't seen anything that has been compelling enough to make a 100 % believer. And I'm afraid Hamsters audio while interesting doesn't sway me in the slightest.
