First I want to thank Helen for being willing to do this for me, I feel like she went to a lot of trouble over me and I appreciate that. I went into this as a skeptic and everyone involved knew that, but I also wanted to be open-minded and write an honest review. I hope this will prove to be both. I gave Hamster every chance to back-out of having a review written and at every out she said "do it!" Knowing that I like to call BS when I see it, I think that is brave and shows confidance on her part! Now the review: How it got started: This started when I read a post in which Hamster said she could read people just by their name. I asked "If I give you my name you can tell me things that you should have no way of knowing?" To be fair, Hamster never said "yes," but others suggested she could. She agreed to "read me" or whatever it is called and I pm'd her my name. After I did that I sort of had the feeling that perhaps I had rushed into something without giving it much thought. I became slightly concerned that she might tell me something I did not wish to know, that I might be causing someone to do something that was morally wrong, et cetera. While I am still a little uneasy about the latter concern, it turns out that the results were not unpleasant in any way. The Results: I will try not to give too many details so as to keep this concise and to the point, and to be honest I do not understand a lot of the terms used, but here goes. Hamster asked to see a photo of me so that she could read something called my "aura." I am not sure what an "aura" is, but it seems I do have one because she read it! It seems to have some relation to colors and erach color is assigned a meaning, for example, she said: "Rustic red indicating a quick temper Apricot indicating thoughtful communication Buttercup yellow-one focused on a path of action Dark green (a small amount) indicating some mental stress" All of the things she stated are true of me, at least at times, but seem very general to me. There was nothing in the aura color reading that I could really use in any way to better myself and most if not all could apply to almost anyone. Hamster went on to say "I get a feeling of being lost, a deep frustration with something and a great hunger for answers. Searching for something as if you get close then it moves again." All of these are true or part true, but in a very general way, I think much of that could apply to almost anyone. These are also things that could be picked up on by reading my posts here. She then said " I also pick up a deep rooted hurt possibly from 10 years ago or more. A feeling of injustice and anger again." The first half is true of me, the second half is not. In a review of health she said "Do you suffer from sleep issues like insomnia or fatigue? Your overall energy flow is not as good as it could be. There is also a small energy block around your stomach usually indicating frequent problems there like gas, indigestion or acid." I was posting last night until after 2pm, so this was a good guess, but as a general rule my sleep is quite good (although I often don't do enough of it). I do not have any stomach or GI problems that I am aware of, but my wife might agree with the statemant about gas!  She also said "Money seems to flow to you irregularly. Sometimes it comes in abundance and others times it is hard to get at all. I'd say that anger is blocking a smoother flow of money to you." Due to the line of work I am in, I am will sometimes make a lot more than others. When this was over I asked a very specific follow-up question, the answers to that question were all off the mark. I was hoping there would be something in this that would shock me, make me think, whatever. I have never had anything like this done before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was impressed with Hamster's intuitiveness, but at the same time dissapointed by the overall lack of detail. I did not see anything here that applied to me and me alone or anything that could not also apply to many other people. I have always liked Hamster and I now see her as a very caring person who is really trying to help others with what she sees as a gift she has. That desire to help others is a very commendable quality, the world needs more people like her! Last edited on 04:58 am by Aethelred |

Very fair, well written and thought out review. Thank you for being so open and willing to do this!! I do have a question, and it's not to be ugly to you or protective of Hamster. I'm curious and am not asking for personal information here....it's just stuck in my mind. So, i'll ask and if you dont want to answer, it's ok. Hamster said in the other thread: I just sent it to you-it was very quick as you are up late so I can go deeper on any issue. I know per your review you did ask some questions afterwards and she was "off". Do you feel like you've already taken her up on this willingness to "go deeper" and are still dissatisfied? Are you willing to try to let her "go deeper" as this was a "quick" reading?

If there are specific things that she or someone could tell me that they would have no way of knowing, that would get my attention. I only asked one follow-up question, I would not know what else to ask. I would not say that I was either satisfied or dissatisfied, I took part in what I see as an experiment and I examined and commented on the results. For me there is no room for any emotion attached to those results. I have been told that I look at things in a cold, detached manner, that may be true.

I totally understand and really do appreciate your participation  Perhaps you'll consider "going deeper" as she offered as she admited she did it quickly and generalized, as you feel are the results. NOT tryin to push you Aeth, hope you understand that, and I hope you also understand I'm not tryin to "prove you wrong". I dont think you have to ask specific questions to get specific answers...I just think if you were to ask her to "go deeper" then you may find the results you were hoping for. Thats between you two....again, thanks for the review! I was quite curious how it turned out

I think that given my concern about the moral implications of this sort of thing, it would be wrong of me to ask her to go further with this. I do not want to be in the position of asking someone to do something that might not be right. I do not want anyone trying to contact any spirit because I asked! However, if there is anything specific she has, I would be open to hearing it. My review should not be taken as a failure on her part, she did address some issues that cut rather close, it is just not what I expected.

I guess what I was hoping to see was something specific, like: "You have a picture of XYZ above your desk" "Your toothbrush is yellow" That sort of thing, something I can't explain.

I can usually see where people are headed by the energy patterns they have set. When you want something you set in motion a pattern in your energy field/aura and work to draw it to you. The more you want this the stronger the pattern is but of course we have free will and can change that wish and therefore pattern at anytime. I see a kind of projected course based on how your patterns are set right now. I hope that explains it?? I am not very good at expressing it!

It takes on the vibration of light depending on what you are thinking, feeling and your physical state. Energy in this field moves into solid matter through your mind. Literally-we become what we think about most as Buddha said. Also you might now the quote "As a man thinketh-so shall he be"? There is energy around everything. Look at a plant and relax your focus a little and you can sometimes see a green field around it. Almost like you are looking past it-not directly at it. You can see energy in the sky too if you soften your focus. Often this appears as blue swirling patterns. It began for me as being able to see energy running between my fingers when I hel them closely together. If you want to know more about it just ask? I understand a lot of this may conflict with your faith so thanks again for asking openly.
