My God, my Adored One, my King, my desire!
What tongue can voice my thanks to Thee?
I was heedless, Thou didst awaken me.
I had turned back from Thee, Thou didst graciously aid me to turn towards Thee.
I was as one dead, Thou didst quicken me with the water of life.
I was withered, Thou didst revive me with the heavenly stream of Thine utterance
which hath flowed forth from the Pen of the All-Merciful.

O Divine Providence! All existence is begotten by Thy bounty;
deprive it not of the waters of Thy generosity,
neither do Thou withhold it from the ocean of Thy mercy.
I beseech Thee to aid and assist me at all times and under all conditions,
and seek from the heaven of Thy grace Thine ancient favor.
Thou art, in truth, the Lord of bounty, and the Sovereign of the kingdom of eternity.

Do Thou ordain for me and for my loved ones
the good of this world and of the world to come.
Supply them, then,
with the Hidden Gift Thou didst ordain for the choicest among Thy creatures.

These are, O my Lord, the days in which Thou hast bidden Thy servants to observe the fast. Blessed is he that observeth the fast wholly for Thy sake
and with absolute detachment from all things except Thee.
Assist me and assist them. O my Lord, to obey Thee and to keep Thy precepts.
Thou, verily, hast power to do what Thou choosest.

There is no God but Thee, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

O LORD, my God!
Praise and thanksgiving be unto Thee
for Thou hast guided me to the highway of the kingdom,

and attracted my heart with Thy love among the righteous.

Verily, Thou art the Mighty, the Powerful and Unconstrained.

God grant that, with a penetrating vision and radiant heart,
though mayest observe the things that have come to pass and are now happening,
and, pondering them in thine heart,
mayest recognize that which most men have, in this Day, failed to perceive.
Please God, He may enable thee to inhale the sweet fragrance of His Day,
to partake of the limitless effusions of His grace,
to quaff thy fill, through His gracious favor,
from the most great Ocean that surgeth in this Day in the name of the Ancient King,
and to remain firm and immovable as the mountain in His Cause.
