Big revolution going on regarding digital TV now, as analogue systems are shutting down.

Have you ever considered watching a John Wayne movie, or Shaun Connery movie in Spanish, whereby the characters are dubbed?  It's very funny!

Shrek springs to mind, where goold old Antonio Banderas actually does his own part (the cat) in both countries, as he is obvioulsy Spanish but speaks English.  But when you kKNOW Eddie Murphy is the Donkey, and then you get his part dubbed by a Spaniard,  well... it kinda loses it's magic.  Same goes for most movies.

We as English and Americans take the pleasure of hearing the actors own voices for granted.

Mel Gibson does his own parts too.

But seriously... the television really is as Pussycat describes!

Oh, and "Who wants to be a millionaire" has a presenter that looks like Chris Tarrant... dresses like Chris Tarrant... and I think may BE Chris Tarrant! Well... maybe from 200 feet away... with my eyes half closed... on a dark night!

Do you get that game quiz, Elle, whereby they have lots of little packages all worth different amounts of cash and prizes and some booby prizes to boot?  That's quite entertaining. :)

And I didn't know Mel Gibson did his own parts.  Now he is even further up my ladder of adorable men.  (Actually I have 2, hubby and Mel...just as well I would never have to choose between them! ) :bigwink:   As I would hate to admit I would almost offer to do his parts for him if he needed help! :littleangel:
