The ability to practice my rusty Spanish (had six years in h.s. and college).  I haven't had the pleasure of being able to visit yet, but hope to some day.  I love the culture and want to meet the people, try the food, see the architecture and paintings, and do or watch Spanish dances.

Best thing about Spain is that your vehicles don't go rusty!   LOL

(It's hard to say 'The Weather' during July and August, as it is simply killer hot.  Too hot.  But the rest of the year is terrific!

Laid back way of life is great, and just wish I could find the time to enjoy it.

The constant challenge of learning a new language is great, and one I could not live without that now.  (Though more than a tad frustrating from time to time, I must admit).

Great to see my kids growing up having real fun like we used to, before the UK became a nanny state.  ie,  riding motos, diving from cliffs into rockpools, and generally doing all th crazy things that simply wouldn't be considered suitable for kids in the UK.
(Hard to relax about this in the early days here - but it is how it is, and it's great to watch them adventure without manacles)

All in all - the total challenge of a remarkably diffferent culture and outlook on life, epitimising the values of society and family life without the red tape of a nanny state.
