TAPAS.
The Tropical coast (Andalucia) is particularly good for free Tapas.  Tapas originally came about as a drink guard from flies. A piece of bread would be used as a cap for your glass to prevent flies supping with you. This tradition has grown, and many bars send out a plate of tapas, free of charge every time you order another beer. So if you are planning a long drinking session, don’t go on a full belly, as you will not appreciate the tapas, which generally change with every beer order, so you may end up with several dishes from topped bread to meatballs, cous-cous  and fish etc.

Many bars try to out-do each other by serving better tapas than other local bars.  So a pub-crawl can be quite a free feast!
