I truly don't mean to be obnoxious here, but I have an honest observation. It's a major generalization and just based upon, mainly, the coincidence of many second-hand information sources (friends, etc.). Many people I have known in the past have expressed their opinion that Spanish girls/women TEND to be less sexually inhibited than the average female. Many guys have told me that their Spanish girlfriend/wife was more fun in bed, or less inhibited, than all their other past companions. While they may be exaggerating, it seems too coincidental if I combine all the comments from the past. I fully accept this is just a coincidence from the comments I've heard, but I wanted to ask if this is generally understood or "talked about" in Spain at all. I'm Italian, and I know there is some truth to many stereotypes - including ones about Italians! There is no doubt there is truth behind many stereotypes that make it reasonable to generalize or express those trends or tendencies - or, noticeably higher rates of occurrence. Anyway, is such a thing floating around Spain at all?

Being female, I suppose I am not likely to get to the bottom of that one in a hurry... Though I will try to make a subtle point of asking whenever it's polite to.  but what every English speaking chap does seem to voice, is that ...(I am quoting a much overheard phrase here) "The Spanish women are absolute stunners til their mid teens generally, then their asses explode!" I do feel sorry for them, as from the waist up these girls are georgeous, but even before they get pregnant (and half of the schoolgirls are already in rapid expansion mode), they just seem to... as the guys describe...'Explode' from the waist down.

Really? Wow, I never heard of that. Spanish girls, if anything, are known to have really nice butts. But, again, that's my limited experience in my NY area ... Thanks, PC!

Actually this was a subject under discussion around our dinner table recently. We had a male Spanish friend around. He described Spanish women as being less sexually open than Englsih girls. He also said that once they do let go though.... that they "pop"!!! Actually the word he used was "plooff!" but you get the idea ;-) He compared the way that I am with my female friends, and that tactility is quite alien to his Spanish companions... but that once a bond is made - it's seldom broken. And yes, the señoritas are beautiful aren't they? Not that they're my type... but you get my drift lol. The thing is - the clothes shopping here implies that all the ladies are stick thin, and 6 feet tall. Ahem... do these people actually LOOK at women? Or do they just hope that if they make the clothes that size... that every girlie will evolve to fit. Oh well... most of them here in Lanzarote live in Lycra anyway - it matches their dodgy haircuts! I am a slim build, but only 5'2" and trying to buy a pair of flared jeans in my size waist etc only results in them being 6" too long, and the design of flares does not lend itself to hemming them! The sizes are all to pot here. In the UK I am a size 8, but here 16! What's that all about ???? I often buy clothes that fit me, but are labelled 'L' (large) or 'G' (grande). THAT makes me laugh, as I am half the size of most women here so what on earth size do they have to buy?  (Super dooper grande?)Actually, the industry was bleating last year about bringing in some universal sizings simply BECAUSE of the points I have mentioned. Now, Spain being Spain (heavily bereft due to the Mañana syndrome when it comes to actioning anything) whether anything will actually come about, or not is quite another matter! Hola frank. Thanks for the compliment. Always happy to join in... and hey wasn't it you who pointed me to Pussycat's forum here? Hi Pussycat - nice to meet you. Yes, Mañana may well delay it past our lifetime lol. I'm lucky because I'm tall... so it's actually quite nice for me to be able to buy jeans and trousers that actually fit for once, instead of them being "halfmast"! On the other side of the shop (so to speak) though is the men's section. Now my fella is a strapping man, but can I get a T-shirt larger than XL? No! Maybe they used all that extra material for the ends of Pussycat's flares! Pfft! Oh, and here we go... another chance to post the dodgy banana! Hurrah!

I'm not sure about Spanish women but the Mexican women are REALLY FUN and are A LOT less inhibited than all the others I've been with. No exaggeration! One thing I don't like though are their flat butts.

That was funny... hey, maybe there is some sort of connection, a Latin based one, or hispanic one, I don't know. I am dumb about these things. I just know that I have heard this from people over the years more than any other Nationality or ethnic background.
