Saints preserve us!!!!!  Does he really?

I'm feeling a bit squeamish!!!

:please:

Oh, but it's worse than that.  When he wears his leather pants in the hot summer sun, his thighs sizzle and everyone within a ten-foot radius swears they smell sauteéd shrimp.

Of course, boastful as he is, 24HourNut claims it is the smell of an enormous Spanish Mackerel.

::sealed::

omg! :lmao:

Yer on a roll!

I thought he was Italian though (mebbe I'm wrong) but wouldn't he then claim baking a cream-filled cannoli?

Well it may be unseemly (and a little bit of cow dung), but Frank appears to be a good sport over all this laughter at his expense.

And it's just darned funny to be mirthful over shrimp, mackerel and cannoli!

Well, I wanted to include butter and milkmaid just didn't make it.

Perhaps I should have said;

Yes oh sage whose butterchurn forms the truth of the ages?

Outre speaketh  and Newbie taketh notes....

I've just got in from a hoot of an evening.  A girlfriend dragged me, screaming, into an Asian book reading club - me being pretty Eurocentric... and we had the first session this evening.  The book set was last year's Booker Prize winner - Kiran Desai's 'Inheritance of Loss', in my very humble opinion amid all those intellectuals, a singlularly bleak read!!!    Hic.  Anyway, we got to drink champers while discoursing on life, the universe, everything - which did lessen the pain amazingly - and then adjourned to the Chinese restaurant next door.. hic.. and in short - I consumed a wider variety of evil  foodgroups - but not butter, churned or otherwise - so I think I'll go and maybe dance naked in the  moonlight or something.......

Thank you for not sharing your consumption of Spanish Mackerel.
