What I can say is that I enjoyed showing her things (animals, lanscapes, etc.) and seeing her sense of wonderment when she was 2 to 4. There were lots of "wows" and expressed fascination with the beauty of the world. She was still excited about seeing the Grand Canyon and other things as we took a drive through Arizona, but it was milder in comparison.

I have a soon to be 7 year old daughter. I think I would have to agree. All the things she saw and learned about nature between 2 and 4 were pretty priceless. All her funny faces she made and the expressions she was saying.. They were soo cute!

I'd have to say that I loved the middle school years the most.  My son was attending the middle school I taught at and was actually in one of my classes.  We drove to school every day, with him driving and myself being the driver's ed teacher.  Then at home on the weekend we staged savage water gun wars.

I was really a great time!
