This thread is dedicated to prayer requests.  If you have any, please use this space to tell us about who we can pray for specifically.  You needn't give out any personal details unless you wish.  But let's help our brothers and sisters (as well as all non-believers) by requesting God's help in their lives! 


I'll start with one.  Please pray for the recovery of my friend, who recently took disastrously ill and nearly died from exposure to some contaminated mulch (probably from Hurricane Katrina debris?).  His whole body became covered by boils, and he had to be hospitalized; fortunately, he's pulling through with new skin growing.  I know God has already spared his life, and I'm thankful for that.  My friend is a definite believer in Christ.  May he recover successfully.

And may God be glorified forever!!!!

Please pray for the healing of Megan from diabetes, and for the tearing down of the enemies' strongholds on forums such as this, and for an easing of my mom's stress at her workplace where they are continually painting a target on her back to get her. Thank you.

I'll be saying prayers for everyone mentioned.  Please also pray for our best friend's grandson, who has Pfieffer's Syndrome, and this past Thursday had one of many major surgeries he'll have to have until he's about 20 (he was just born this past Christmas).

I'd also like to request a prayer for my mother who is 86 and in assisted living.  She's had spinal compression fractures twice because of osteoporosis.  Thanks to your prayers and rehab, she's been able to get around using a walker and doesn't need her wheel chair.  I'd like some prayers that she be able to stay in assisted living the rest of her life and not need to be sent to a nursing home.

I would like to ask that my wife "Eva" be added to your prayers. She had her thyroid removed August 16 and we learned a few weeks ago that the pathologist found cancer in the tissue that was removed. She is scheduled to undergo radiation treatment on October 9th and will be in the hospital for about 3 days.
