My dad...His biopsy came back negative for cancer....but found some cells of the dreaded mrsa staph infection.  :(

He's not running a fever, they hope they got it all, he's comfortable for now.

He's endured way too much already over the past year...long story...

Prayers appreciated.

Thank you Fox. I guess he was up on a telephone pole stringing some cable lines with his son, he did not have his harness on and he fell to the ground and landed on his face. He has crushed sinuses,may lose an eye a fractured skull and possible brain damage. They have him in a drug induced coma now. About 8 yrs ago he was in an accident at a construction site he was on his bike and was waved to go through, as he was going through a backhoe was backing up and did not see him, it rode over him  and crushed his leg. He may lose it after this as his hip has many pins in it holding it together and that got affected in the fall also. What a mess!..........So he needs all the help he can get.

      I may have to drive to Florida in a u-haul to bring my mother and all her stuff to stay with my sister for awhile. Like I said what a mess!

Thanks for the update librty.  It sounds awful.  I've learned that God seems to do what He deems best, but I've also learned is doesn't hurt to pray!  I'll keep all of you in my prayers, take care................::rose::

My next-door neighbor is a lovely, caring person.  She has double pneumonia and the flu and just came home from the hospital because they needed her bed for others and have people sleeping in the emergency ward because they're running out of beds.  She had been in the hospital for three days.  My husband and I went to see her while she was there, but she was getting dialysis on a different floor at the time (her daughter was with her).  We brought her pretty pink flowers (her favorite color) and had to leave them in the room.
 
Anyway, Abbie (my neighbor) still has the flu and the pneumonia and I'm hoping she'll be able to recover at home.  Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.  I'm going to bring her some toasted almonds, which she loves. :-)
