I would like to ask that some prayers go out for my brother, Jerry.  I found out yesterday that he has been fighting a skin cancer that's turned bad.  He's going in for surgery on Tuesday, and needs all the prayers he can get................

Thank all of you who prayed!!  My brother finally got the call last night from the doctors.  The melanoma cancer hasn't spread to the lymph nodes like they thought!  He has several surgeries scheduled, but it appears right now that his life is not in danger!!   Please, thank those who prayed with you as well.  This is a miracle..........::huggers::

A week ago yesterday, a dear friend of mine was in a serious accident and broke every bone in his face.  He's very lucky to be alive.  Driving around a curve he hit some loose gravel which sent him down a steep, muddy, tree covered embankment,  where a tree branch went through his face...somehow, he managed to climb out of the car and back up to the road, where he sat until someone found him.   He was unable to speak, and his wallet contained only one phone #, another friend, who had just been layed off work that day, so just happened to be home. 

And after 5 surgeries this week he is on the road to recovery.  He will be in the hospital for another 2 weeks, and has a rough few months ahead.  His jaw is wired shut for 6-8 weeks.  He and his wife fully credit his better than expected recovery so far to the prayers that have been offered by his friends and family.  This whole event has been life affirming for many.  I figured a few more prayers couldn't hurt.  ::rose::

I don't know.  I haven't talked with him for over a week now.  I think still, better than he thought he would be.  Keep those prayers his way too... I hope your friend will be okay when he comes out of this, as well............::rose::

I'd like to ask for some prayers for Mud you guys............He's having a really hard time right now.  Some shoulder surgery that doesn't appear to have worked.  He's been in a lot of pain for about two months now, and I think he's to the point of needing some help getting through this.  We could ask that he has the strength to hang in there, and that  the pain goes away before much longer..........  Any good thoughts and prayers might help.
