I noticed this thread went without any reply. I just wanted to reply to you JBF and make sure you got a thanks for posting that link. I won't be using it, though, as I am terrified of prophesies in general.

I promise I will convert once my brain tells me that God requires organized worship and wants me to pick one particular organized religion. Until then, I don't see why I must be rushed into a "now" time-frame to be honest.

Interesting link, JBF. I read it all. But I was surprised that it was about prophesies that were fulfilled by Jesus already proving that he was the Messiah. (I already took that for granted, rising from the dead was good enough for me.) I expected you to post prophesies that had come true lately, showing that Jesus was on the way. Do you have any of those?

I think I am slowly becoming 24 Hour Forums worst enemy. Because I have shared the message about Jesus and therefore everyone who has heard cannot say to Jesus, "I didn't know you loved me enough to die for me."

This is One prophesy that is being fulfilled rapidly! Thanks to modern technology like satellite, radio, tv, and internet. This is a BIG sign that Jesus is near. This couldn't take place even 40 years ago... Jesus said,"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14

God can either let me think I should keep studying and not assuming, which is how God built me, or God can send me a list of approved religions and tell me to pick any or something. Regardless, "now" isn't a timeframe one can figure this stuff out in. One has to be careful - there are a lot of people saying they know this and that as if they know God doesn't want me to feel what I feel right now. They presume to know what God wants for me and in general. I find that to be anti-education and presumptuous. For all they, and I know, God wants it to be individual and one on one, no organized religion needed. Like I said, if God wants me and others to think differently, all God has to do is let us know. God isn't doing that when billions are basically born into their religions for life. But maybe God has let me know and that is why I feel the way I feel, so maybe I am not supposed to pick one just to pick. That's up to God and between God and I and I don't feel as though anyone is qualified to step on our current relationship and understanding by assuming God has not sent me the right message or that I don't have it as right as they do. I haven't even gotten around to fully analyzing the prophecy thing for crying out loud. Don't people spend decades studying this stuff to get to some truth? I have to decide "now?"

You both make a great point, but the fact is that I am one more person in the lives of many here on the forum who has spoke the truth of Jesus. In this... those who have never heard about Jesus now cannot say to Jesus, "I have never heard that you loved me so much to die for me."

Well to be honest then I have heard that newsflash long ago, along with all the other newsflashes from the other organized religions. Not to mention, I have also heard other things like that the Bible is not the word of God. So, I can't just go by whether or not I have "heard" someone make a claim. So far, they are just claims by other people. People that would be some other religion if they were just born in a different place or time. Not direct message from God to me. So having heard someone make a claim is not going to make me decide which to pick because all views have people making claims. People making the same basic claims can't even agree half the time. Experts can't agree, but make claims anyway. God needs to speak to me, and God, so far, has said, use you reasoning, explore, learn, don't assume or go by what other people say. We can have a relationships regardless. So far that is the message loudest to me, from God. Not "hurry up pick X now, or else."
