Praise the Lord and welcome to The Christian’s Straight and Narrow Path, a forum dedicated to Jesus Christ and His church.  We invite all Christians to come and participate in discussions here, and at the same time build your relationship with the Lord and minister to your fellow Christians.  This purpose of this forum is a place for Christians to encourage, edify and build each other up – to provide true service to each other.
 
Those who haven’t accepted Christ are also welcome to participate in the forum, but we expect a modicum of respect to prevail at all times; remember, “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”  --Matthew 22:39.  Hence, no name calling, bad language or inappropriate graphics will be tolerated.  This is not the place to attack Christians or Christianity; there are other forums where that may be tolerated but this is not one of them.  This is a forum for Christians, by Christians and about Christians.  The focus will be on doctrine and belief, not attacks on Christians or members of this forum.  Any violation of these forum rules will be dealt with swiftly and firmly.
 
We recognize Jesus Christ to be the Savior of mankind, through the sacrifice of His own life on the cross.  The offer of eternal salvation is made available through belief in Christ, and this offer is open to all.  “Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  --Acts 4:12. 
 
We believe that the Bible is God’s holy word, and guidebook for humanity.  “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”  --1 Thessalonians 2:13.  “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”  --Matthew 4:4
 
We are called to follow God’s law.  “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in His love.”  --John 15:10
 
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”  --Revelation 21:6-7
