I know that the sun roof dayes back to the 30's but can not find the GM or the ford dates.

In 1960 the T-bird was in production, but there has to be an earlier date.

What was the first production car to have electronic fuel injection?
My guess is that it was a Daimler-Benz. The Germans had fuel-injection engines in their planes before the Brits or Yanks. The fuel-injected DB601 used in the Bf-109's was supposedly an excellent engine.

What was the first production car to have electronic fuel injection?1.  From what I understand GM started making a sliding steel (electric) sunroof in 1973.  I had one in a 1973 Monte Carlo S, and my uncle bought second hand a 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Fleetwood with one, special ordered by a Mrs. Ryder of Ryder Trucking Co.  I believe GM made a sunroof of some kind of retractible plastic material for at least one year prior to this (1972) but discontinued this format for some reason linked to practicality.

I don't know when Ford introduced their sliding steel sunroof, but I seem to recall 1968 as the year, and I have seen pictures of some of their cars with one in the late 1960s.

2.  VW switched from a large canvass sunroof to a sliding steel roof in its Beetle in 1964.  As far as I know, however, they already had been producing one in the Karmann Ghia and Type III prior to this.

3.  VW purpoted to be the first producer of electronic fuel injection, in 1968 with its Type III.
