The average compression is usually around 140 P.S.I.

You have me confused?

 What do you want?

The compression ratio?

What the compression should be?

Thanks I guess the question is what should the compression be if it was bored out the compression would be higher than 140 when I screw in the compression gauge I guess I will have the answer if it was bored out or not.....I will let you know what it reads.

 More air/fuel being forced out the same size valves , should give you higher compression.

compression test came out

#1= 136lbs

2=139

3=138

4=138

5=136

6=138

7=138

8=136

Makes me think 1-5-8 are low comp. but not enough to mess w/also tells me which ones are working harder............not enough to make me worry.... Thank you. The plugs looked a little white............have you ever installed a 30hp sneaky pete?:giantgrin: I am set up withall the lines and the was wondering. A tank,button and extension on my carb would work. Just had to check my compression to see if it could handle it.
