It will be interesting to see exactly what shape it will be in. If put in the capsule right it should be good to go. If the capsule fell apart who knows.

What a cool idea that was, and I'm glad they chose a big coupe with a hemi like that to bury. I can't wait to see what it looks like now, and my bet is that it's in mint condition. Just don't use that gas to start it! The winner is going to be one lucky person. And I wonder if it's put on ebay afterwards, how much would it sell for? I bet for a couple hundred thousand bucks.

PS:  This must have been a cool car, since my dad was driving the exact same model when courting my mom, back in 1959.  She fell for him...or was it the car? ;)

I so wanted that car to be pristine. Oh well it was a fun experiment. Maybe they will do it again for the next generation.

How cool would it be for our kids if fifty years from now they could dig up 2007 vehicle. What kind should we bury?

And I Think they should restore this one and bury it again.
