Have you seen them...coming to the U.S. in 2008? In Canada, they get 70 mpg (imperial gallons).

Actually I've seen the 07 version of this gocart on wheels early this year! It was on a city street in Miami, in heavy traffic. That's where it would be perfect. As for taking it out on the major highways to go 70 to 75mph, now that's another story! After just writing that, I am now recollecting that years ago, I used to own a Renault 4CV that was the about same size, only different shape. I remember going about 55mph in it, as that was the top speed for it. Cause it only had I believe an "18hp" engine! So I guess what I'm saying is that former "Bug" drivers, or for that matter any other small car drivers would probably like these cute little cars. (Especially the "70"mpg part! That 18hp 4CV of mine only got if I remember right in the 30's)

Lots of them in France. Great for squishing into mini parking spaces...

I've actually seen one of the '07 versions parked in a dealer's lot in my city in Northern Virginia, and one parked on the street.  They're kind of cute, but too small for my taste. :)  They'd be great for young people...very affordable for both buying the car and the gas.

If you get in an accident, you have a ready made coffin.

If the air bags go off, you end up going thru the trunk.... :rotfl:

When a transpost truck passes you, it'd be like hydroplanning..
