Hi, Shimmy!

Here is a photo of my father's new toy, a 2005 Pontiac GTO in Midnight Blue Metallic from the General Motors Holden division, Australia.  It boasts a Corvette V-8 engine (that kicks ASS!) and electric blue leather seats.  0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, Dude!  My dad has worked hard all his life, and now that his diabetes is advancing, it is time for him to play.  His mobility is severely limited yet he is still able to drive a car.  I am happy for him.  Prior to his visit, I had not seen him in five years.  It was wonderful to spend the day with him and witness the heartfelt glee he feels when driving his GTO.  The windows are tinted thus people are surprised when he gets out of the car, ha-ha.  They expect a much younger man to emerge...!  My dad is a maniac when he drives his GTO.  Seriously, he thinks he's on a speedway or something.  I lost my lunch a few times, ha-ha.

My son and father next to Grandpa's Midnight Blue Metallic GTO with a kick-ass engine.
