Check out the new Pontiac G8 Sedan.

Chrysler came out with the 300C with a monster Hemi engine and decent, boxy looks. The automotive press hailed its intro as the savior of the large American sedan. While it certainly has power, it doesn't look like a sporty car by any means.

We now have something to look forward to replace the void left by GM's decision to axe the Chevy Impala SS back in 1996. The Mercury Marauder promised to fill the void, but it came up short and only lasted 2 years in production (2003 to 2004). The Autralian-built G8 GT boasts a 6.0 liter V8 engine with 361 horsepower (maybe it's GM's LS2?). It certainly looks sporty, too.

It's a whole new ball of wax. It's an American version of the Australian Holden Commodore (in Saudi Arabia it will be marketed as the Chevrolet Caprice). It's bigger and a lot more powerful than the old Pontiac Grand Prix.
