Someone broke the passenger's side mirror on my car the other day. They broke a 2" piece off the plastic lip surrounding the glass. You'll find that manufacturers don't sell small parts of side mirrors-- you have to buy the whole damned assembly.

Do I really want to spend $230 for a new sideview mirror assembly and pay extra to have it painted? Shall I use silver duct tape to cover the hole?!

Since there were less than 10,000 vehicles sold in the 2003 to 2004 Infiniti M45 body style, I can't just waltz down to the local Pick-A-Part and yank the mirror frame off a junker. The least expensive used mirror I've found is $175. I'm not sure if it completely undamaged or only slightly damaged.
