Are you seriously considering an Isetta!?! They are ultimately cool. I remember once 20 years ago in downtown Munich one exactly like the one in your picture flew by going at least 60mph. It was awesome.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. -Matthew 22:37-39

No, that is supposed to be an older BMW!  Trying to edit to add addition info!

Strange vehicles: BMW 600 Microcar

The BMW 600 microcar was shown at the 1957 Frankfurt motor show. The 600 was powered by a four stroke, 2 cylinder 585 cc engine developing 19 horsepower at 4000 rpm. This motor gave the BMW 600 a top speed of 62 mph through a 4 speed manual gearbox.

The BMW 600 sold well in America where it was fitted with sealed beam headlights and larger bumpers to conform to safety regulations. The BMW 600 also sold well in Argentina.

You're right; the Isetta had a 250 and later 300 cc engine:
