This is connected to what many hope will be GM's comeback. They sure do need something. So maybe a real focus on hybrids and alternative fuels is their plan. It only took an oil crises and the threat of bankruptcy, but the free market and competition seems to be getting results.

Great post Frank,  GM as always is a few years behind all the competition.

 I remember when the P.T.Cruiser was released. GM had their SSR in the works... 4 years later they released it at a HUGE price tag approx. $70,000.00 +!!!!
