It was really cool to see that purse unraveled! It looked like a plastic type purse and I had forgotten that a 1942 dime in say 1958 would have been only 16 yrs old! And I find 16 yr old coins in circulation everyday! Nice time capsule. ......now about that jackhammer..........................nice going Amy!........::thumbs::

I agree, that is why finding something like that is so cool.  It's all natural and real, chances are.

WHOOOAAA, Rick!! That is AWESOME! FIVE silver coins AND a Buffalo nickel in the same dig?

You're killin' me!

BTW, that 1907 Indian you found, if not for the scratches, would be as nice as the 1907 I recently dug myself (which you might have seen "The London Street Coinshooting Adventure" thread). And the one I found is probably my nicest ever.

You really have a way of amping up the excitement (with the "teaser" pictures and all, LOL) and this forum needs that, especially during my own inactive periods.

And boy, howdy, you sure know how to find some good stuff!

Now how 'bout the "after" (cleaned-up) pictures?
