wonderful! the teeth are perfect. and i love sand dollars. it's rare to find one intact, they are so fragile.

when i was a kid my Dad used to take me to place in Md. that i believe was called scientists' cliffs. (if memory serves). it was a gold mine of fossils, we always came home with many great items for 'show and tell' at school. have you ever heard of it? you'd like it i'm sure!

I have never heard of it until your post, sounds like a fascinating site. I'm glad you posted the links, great reading! I grew up in Charleston, SC and when they dug the borrow pits to make I-26, they uncovered fossil beds, we dug sharks teeth 5 and 6 inches long and all sorts of shells....It's a great hobby, for sure....

Cool beans, Steve. I have my share of shark teeth, including a few biggies, but never got a sea urchin before... at least, not a whole one. I have a box of "mystery fossils" I need to show sometime, to somebody who knows more about them.
