GREAT buckle!

I am and always will be a coin guy first and foremost, but the more stuff like that I see and find, the more interested I get in some of those "non-coin" relics.

BTW, belated thanks, MrLee- had I come back to this before now, I'll bet your pics would work, since I can see 24-hosted pics on the server at work.

I'll bet that was a lady's buckle, as ornate and fancy as it is.

Yeah, you gotta love stuff with a patent date on it.

Take this little clasp thingie, for example.  You were with me the day I found it, Steve, in the north side of Halifax Square.

I am not entirely sure what it was used for, but dating it is a cinch!  :)
