I have gone to that show a couple times, WHAT A ZOO. But also a great time where we spent 2 days and evenings just walking around looking at boats and attending instructional seminars. If you're a boater this is the event of the year to attend. I've not gotten on more than a couple megayachts, they are just big floating condos that end up being dock queens and don't typify the lifestyle of real cruisers.

    Good video there LC!

i know, i've seen many of them in the keys, usually flying a bahamas flag and a helicopter on the fantail to go to the gourmet grocery. the owners have crews to actually take the boat to a destination, and they fly. i hate those people. ::chuckle::

THANK YOU LC!  It's so nice to have a FUN thread again!!  I LOVE Boat shows!  We use to go to the IN THE WATER boat shows in Seattle when we had our sail boats.  God how I miss sailing in Puget Sound!!

There used to be one of the yachts that came by the dive shop once in a while that had a fake helicopter on the fantail. Used to just crack us up when he came by.
