Post Civil War Marvel has a new threat:  the HULK is back and he has an army of battle-hardened, Gladiators.  and oh, yeah... he's pissed.

World War Hulk: Frontline and World War Hulk: X-Men the HULK is out for revenge against the Heros that banished him from Earth... Ironman, Dr Strange, Cap, namor, Black Bolt, and others.

some very cool stuff.  but of all the "non-powered" heroes in Marvel, Wolvie is the only one that can make Hulk bleed.

Wolverine first fought the Hulk in his Marvel debut in 1974.

So the Hulk vs Wolverine rivalry is old school, the fact Wolverine can actually "hurt" the Hulk with his adamantine claws, coupled with his adamantine skeleton and his mutant healing powers makes this an interesting david and goliath fight !
