Every famous murder you can go back and put together enough little details to declare a conspiracy.But honestly, if you were going to put together a team to kill the president would you put a nut job like Oswald anywhere on your team.

I can remember reading once that when Oswald was in the military, he only tested out as "fair" as a marksman.  Some "experts" had said that it would have taken better than a fair marksman to make the shots.

 SURE............To take the fall!   Although from what LC just posted, I would have to go with he probably WAS working alone.  It was only my gut feeling that told me he wasn't. It works pretty well for me, but every time!  ::sgrin::

The second you have more than one person, you have a conspiracy, by definition.  And you almost certainly have more than one person involved in this.

If you look at the Zapruder film, you can clearly see Kennedy's head snapping back, and the back of his head being blown off.  If it was Oswald who fired that shot, Kennedy's head should have been knocked forward, and the front of his skull been knocked out.  It seems like pretty simple physics to me...::scratch::

One thing i do know about the Kennedy murder. There are believers on both sides of the issue. And argueing with them is just like argueing about religion. It can be a lot of fun and very interesting but neither side is going to convince the other.

I think he acted alone, and LC backs that as well. As Roymerr stated who would put Oswald out there if this was a conspiracy. Even if they did want someone to take the fall he could have screamed like a baby and turned everyone in.

well, it's only my opinion. i don't pretend to be an expert in the JFK assassination. however, it was too unlikely a scenario that the evil plotters were sure they could then get jack ruby to kill the guy before he could talk. too many ifs.

I think that's assuming that Oswald actually knew something.  I kind of doubt that.  From what I've seen of the films, he wasn't the kind of guy you'd let in on a surprise party, let alone a serious conspiracy.  My guess is that he knew just enough to get a low-level person (his handler) and that's it. 

It's not that I don't think he was capable of acting alone.  It's just that the Zapruder film seems to point to the kill shot coming from somewhere other than where he was.



If you look at frames 312-313, that sure looks like a shot from the front to me, and several seconds after the first shot...
