-The first flight of the Wright Brothers in 1903
-The first coin being minted in ancient Lydia
-The fate of Edward V in 1485 (did Richard do it?)
-The Battle of Hastings in 1066
-The Vikings landing in North America.

I think most of all I would like to have been outside the tomb of Christ after He was buried to see just what happened.

That's a good list of events.

I'd like to have

- accompanied the Corps of Discovery on its way up the Missouri in 1803

- witnessed the ruckus over and heard the first performance of Rimsky-Korsakov's Christmas Eve at the Mariinsky Theater in 1894[?]

- witnessed the Battle of Itsukushima in 1555

- seen Azuchi and Koriyama Castles before they were destroyed (between 1580 and 1600)

- witnessed Paul's conversion on the Damascus road

- The Plains of Abraham (An hour that determined the fate of the Western Hemisphere...ok maybe a bit dramatic but underappreciated in the context of American History)

- Battles of Crecy and Agincourt

- Been in Jakarta (err Batavia) when Krakatoa erupted

- And this sounds weird, but actually see Nazis, especially the leaders..take your pick.  You see newsreels, you see pictures and sometimes even in color and you know people who fought against (or in my family, some for). But not living through it, you almost can't fathom that such evil existed though you know it happened.

I would like to have lived in 1844 soon after the Báb declared Himself to Mullah Husayn 22nd May, two hours and eleven minutes after sunset, in the city of Shiraz, Persia (Irán).  It would be a rare privileged to see Him as He was in life: Youthful, audacious, brilliant, well-mannered and of exceptional character, there to tell the world of the coming of Bahá'u'lláh.  It would be most remarkable, however, to live in the time of Bahá'u'lláh Himself and spend time in His company.  Perhaps I would meet Him after the majority of His hardships had passed - the final period of His life spent in Bahji, Israel.  Knowing me, I would probably cry incessantly at His feet, and wish only to be of service to Him.  God knows, this would be a supernal gift.  Knowing His sufferings in life included imprisonment, torture, poisoning, betrayal, exile, and the hardship of arduous travel, I would want to take care of Him.  Taking care of people is what I do best, and that is what I would want to give Bahá'u'lláh, the Glory of God: My care.

Yes.  Most definetely.

I would have also liked to be able to hang out with Judas for a while to see who's side of the story is right.

Also would love to be able to sit down in conversation with Thomas Jefferson, I find him to be my favorite American to date.

Hi All

I would like to go back to the time of William Wallace and see if he really was the man that us Scots hold him to be.

The portrayals of him in word and film are so varied. Would be nice to know the truth.
