Well the first lady card sharp was a lady called Madame Simone Jules she was in her early 20's when she started, dark haired, very pretty  and had a downy upper lip she quickly drew notice to her table at the local gambling house she was working at

She disappered in 1854 oddly enough a young woman named Miss dumont who matched Madame Simone Jules excatly arrived in Nevada city the same year same looks, french speaking and in her 20's

Many experts think that her and Madame Simone Jules Are the same person, she took a room and opened a gambling place up, it made her rich and she earned the respect of the whole city, she never drank the hard liquior or did she sleep with anyone, she was a perfect lady proper, trim and drank wine

But as time went by things went downhill for her fast, Nevada city was dying so she moved to another town but she never got the respect she had while in nevada city

By the time she was 30 she was plump and had some dark hairs on her upper lip that were very noticeable by then and by early 1860's she had the nickname madame moustache

By the 1870's she was drinking hard liquior not wine and would sleep with men fro a "fee" she was running a whorehouse/gambling house by then

her life ended in a small town called Bodie in 1879 she was running a gambling house when professional gamblers broke her bank, she was 50 yrs old when she walked out of town and killed herself, she left no message, no nothing

A very sad end to the first lady card sharp
