Errrr ....... I use Co-op brand actually!!  McVitie's have milk in them, whereas Co-op ingredients list makes no mention of anything dairy.  I have to use a dairy-free diet!

Oh, and digestive biscuits on the side for dunking!

Ah, the art of dunking...at risk of sounding arrogant, I'm pretty skilled at it.  The only biscuits that can catch me out are Rich Tea.  They take just that little bit longer and timing is paramount.  Mind you, Nice can be awkward little devils, far too ready to prematurely crumble and fall apart at the slightest provocation, usually back into the tea.

You mean those round ones with little bobbles all over them?  I haven't seen them for years!  Do you remember Morning Coffee?  Tasteless, oblong, with a few holes?

Pam rolls around the floor in hoots of unseemly, wicked, unbridled mirth!!!

NOTE TO FRANKIE: We need an emoticon which expresses this. And we need one with little finger crooked and tea cup daintily raised, thin sliced cucumber sandwich on wedgewood china plate .. lace doily, linen napkin. Butler. And one of those serving things in multilayers you put cakes on.

FOOTNOTE:  Pam does know what a proper afternoon tea is meant to be like.  I nearly make one once in the Ritz in London, but lasted long enough to observe, before I was thrown out for wearing "tennis shoes".  The Palm Court area of one of the ritziest Chicago hostelries did however admit me once and they even had a string quartet...

NOTE TO THEIA:  Tea dances? String quartets?  I do hope you are going to provide a little corner for style goddesses...  ::eats::

It is essential, both with 'Rich Tea' and  'Nice' as well as a select few other biscuits, that when dunking, one strictly follws the 'Perpedicular / VERTICAL' removal technique.

Any deviations from this theme, will rapidly result in a cup of slush, and possible 'Splashback' stains on your clothes!

Do not at any time be tempted to deviate from absolutely vertical, even for the insertion into vocal cavity.  For this manouevre, it is essential to tilt one's entire cranium to enable a gentle lowering of the said biscuit (still in absolute vertical position) into one's Gob!

mmmmm! ::sgrin::

Interesting cultural think dunking.  I know you Pommies do it. Grin. I've seen Americans dunkin donuts...   I don't think I've ever seen (or heard of) and Aussie dunking anything.

Maybe jumping naked into billabongs replaced this strange and exotically foreign right.  Instead of merely immersing yer biscuit (cookie), you let it all hang out (and get wet).

::bshake::

NOW WHERE'S MY MORNING COFFEE !!!!!?????!!!
