Curriculum to be 'more flexible' There is supposed to be more time for individual teaching England's secondary curriculum is being overhauled to give teachers more flexibility in the classroom whilst focusing on the basics, ministers say.

In the current political climate I think lessons in mandarin is a very good idea, the vast majority of chinese people speak mandarin not cantonese and with China emerging as such a financial powerhouse thanks to America and Europe, Mandarin could become the new Japanese I guess ?
