.... that I am just so glad you started this miniforum.  I think it's the one spot on the internet, these days, where I feel kind of at home. Go figger !!!

Do you ever feel like an alien in an alien universe?  By the waters of Babylon we sat down and wept thinking of past everythings and all that...

That is just such a lovely thing to say, Pammie, but then you are the one person around from whom I wouldn't have been surprised to hear it.  What a real sweetie you are.  I shall never taunt you with tea again.

I often feel like an alien, and alienated too.  Perhaps we could perhaps start a meditation and relaxation room, away from the hustle and bustle of the main cafe, and the craziness of cyber world...with beautiful music, soft floor cushions and a gentle ambience?  Just a thought...

Yes!!!

I just posted some sad feelings in the teeth thread. Sigh.

Why are so many people like this?

It's so good to have different cultures represented, to broaden all our mindsets.  Sigh.

On the subject of teeth, I'm just about to go and collect an English five year old set, complete with little person  (well he's an Aussie now too) and take him off to the dentist for his first checkup. Grin. I hope this will be a positive experience for him.

Er, tea... yeah, okay.  Shall I be mother????

Lovely!!!!!  I am feeling relaxed already. Grin.

The little person has quite a few tiny holes in his first teeth, but the dentist was not too worried. He has 20 first teeth on the top, and 20 on the bottom. Poifect.

Hey, Frankie... I know we're feeling relaxed and the cushions are soft and the music is kind of dreamy, but I'm sure when Theia says 'pot', she just means the thing one brews tea in... bad boy!!!

And don't mention butter either. Don't ask, I really have no idea other than to be worried.

Butter??!!!!!!!

Frankie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I belong to a book club - and the last book we had to read was set in the Moso matriarchal society of south west China. Here they drink "butter tea" - which I guess is well, tea, but with the addition of rancid yak butter.

Just another reason to stick to COFFEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
