Uk is having a bump at the mo with one of its main Mortgage Lenders, im not overly worried bout it, i have my mortgage with them, but people being human, they are panicking and withdrawing their money.

What does it mean for Northern Rock mortgage holders?

Mortgage holders will still have to keep up their payments and the bank will not recall any mortgages. But interest rates will probably rise for those not on a fixed-rate deal.

If you are on a discount or tracker product it's likely you will end up paying a lot more. Northern Rock will no longer be in the business of offering cheap remortgages and may be forced to raise its standard variable rate.

Borrowers can always remortgage to an alternative lender, but expect to see lending criteria tighten sharply across the board. If you were a borrower who took a 125% Together loan at Northern Rock, there won't be many other lenders willing to take you on.

Well its cold, miserable, gettin ready to snow here in Scotland, i dont want it to, i hate the snow! Specially when it goes all slushy and murky looking as though something is breeding in it, Unfortunately i cant say what i do for a living, but lets just say the cold weather makes it very very hard......(no Frank im not a pro):cool:

Im in the Capital here are some pics from when i was up in the highlands seeing Heilan Coo (aka Lossielassy) she has changed her name!

It is an exceptionally beautiful place, so many place untouched by the human hand as you will see, some arent very good as were taken on train on the way home but the WOW factor isnt lost on them

I know...sorry Frank, I went from no work to full time in the blink of an eye.  But it should be coming to an end soon and I'll have more time again.
