Hi everyone -

I had a friend of mine do my website for me and I think it looks great. Learning how to do some of the things myself....LOL :rotfl:But hopefully I will be a quick learner.

I have no clue about websites, but I do know about spooning coins to make a ring. And also how Rickey a jeweler becomes about their main anvil,especially when they do gold. I have resurfaced a few.:giantgrin: over and over and over till it was just right.

Here is a website that shows the process. I have tried a few but have a hard time getting the lettering to show on the edge.The resurfacing was done on the anvils to get rid of the pitting and smooth edges after years of use.

No not mine but it is the one I used to start an attempt at spooning coins. I tried silver but am not to keen on trying it on a gold coin.

I have done 3 and have kept 1 (gave away the other ones) I think I kept the

Columbian exposition one.(It has a ship on it. Do Not tell newbie!) Now I hafta root around for it. It was the first one I did The other 2 were I think a Franklin and a Kennedy.
