A little info for you to ponder:

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine.

A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high-140+
5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!...

But American's wanted 'CHANGE'!  So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got 'CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR:

 1) Consumer confidence has plummeted;
 2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing;
 3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase)
 4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION and prices still dropping;
 5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
 6) THE DOW is like a roller coaster

$2.5 Trillion Dollars Has Evaporated from Americans stocks, bonds & mutual funds investment portfolios!
Yes, In 2006 America was convinced by the Democrats that change was needed, they were convinced that the war was lost….And the dupes that listened along with the constant pissing and moaning of the willing media, they voted for CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT!  ....
And what has congress done in the LAST TWO YEARS???, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.!..They sat on their hands while unsuspecting Americans went about their daily lives.
The Democrats that were placed by Nancy Peloci at the head of the committees to overlook the AIG’s, the Fannie Mae’s the Freddie Macs…took full advantage of the situation, giving out sweet deals, while others, like Barrak Obama, made a killing on the kick backs..
They didn’t think it would come to a head this fast, they were really hoping it would take until the last week or so before the election..or even after the election, that way they could reap the benefits before the truth was exposed…But now, there is too much time for the people to find out the real truth…The media better make hay…because more and more every day the people are finding out who REALLY benefited from the soaking of the unsuspecting American people.
All of this info is readily available, and not really hard to find if one takes the time.
NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY GIVE US CHANGE ALONG WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!!
Bend over people……You JUST THOUGHT it was bad…Now the democrats want to be able to control even more of our money, leaving the same thieves in charge.

In fairness, how can you overlook that much of what has transpired was deeply in process in the years the Reps were in power.

I fainess, I don't think you read the post very closely...Read it again....this post is about the LAST TWO years of a Democrat controlled Congress and Senate, and turning more of what has happened in the last two years COMPLETELY over to the same ones that are in charge of the failing programs right now..........

But.....I do agree the Republicans should have been louder about what was going on..and pointed the mess...In 2005 when McCain alerted the house and senate to the potential problems that we see now, it was lambasted and voted down.

I'm almost as worried about the bail-out as I am about no bail-out. My eggs are in order so is my debt. But it's the future and how much insight Bush has. Will he go out with a boom or a throw in the towel mentality.
